The person I am iterviewing for my roots and recipe project is my mom. The food I am doing is adobo. I have changed my food because it is hard to decide what has the most memories for me. Whenever my mom makes a traditional filipino meal the males in the family have to leave the kitchen. The date is unsure of because we are both very busy and rarely come in contact with eachother. The date that is a very high possibility is august 29. My questions i will ask are the following:

My roots and recipes topic
The food I have chosen to do for this project is a filipino dessert called puto. It is the shape of a miniature cupcake and can be as colorful as a rainbow or as plain as the color white. When you eat it it has the texture of bread and has a oxy moron combination of sweet and bitter.
The reason i chose this food because it reminds me of many parties we had at many relatives house. Even though my mom didn't always make this dish when she did make it, it was delicious.
